“While on vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico I had a health issue that required an ambulance ride to the hospital and a 5-hour stay at the hospital. As soon as the doctors had me stabilized, I gave my Travel Guard insurance card to my son-in-law and asked him to call the 800 number. After about 10 minutes he had everything squared away, and as soon as we returned to our hotel, I had an email from Travel Guard with a claim number and complete instructions for filing the claim.
When I returned home a few days later I filed all the requested paperwork and Travel Guard reimbursed me for the entire $2,100 out-of-pocket expense I had incurred. There were no issues with the claim and the entire process went smoothly. I had a check within one month. You can bet I will always use Travel Guard whenever traveling. After the experience I had it will give me peace of mind to know I am protected.”
