  • AIG Travel receives Confirmit ACE Award for sixth consecutive year

    Innovator of global travel insurance solutions receives prestigious award for excellence in customer satisfaction

    HOUSTON – May 14, 2015 – Confirmit has awarded AIG Travel, provider of the portfolio of Travel Guard® travel insurance and global assistance services, a 2015 ACE (Achievement in Customer Excellence) Award for customer service. This is the sixth straight year that AIG’s travel insurance and assistance companies have received the accolade, showcasing the company’s long-term dedication to customer service.

    The Confirmit ACE Awards program celebrates exceptional achievement in the Voice of the Customer and customer experience. Receiving a Confirmit ACE Award is a significant honor that demonstrates the recipient’s rigorous application of both customer service experience processes, and its outstanding performance measured by those processes. Only an elite group of Confirmit clients qualified for an ACE Award.

    Confirmit’s ACE Awards are based on successful Voice of the Customer and Voice of the Employee programs that deliver tangible business improvements. AIG Travel’s award-winning program found that on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the highest possible score, customers rated their experience with Travel Guard products and services an average of 9.26. More than 87 percent of customers rated their experience an 8, 9, or 10 in their survey responses.

    The ACE (Achievement in Customer Excellence) Awards program was established in 2005 to recognize outstanding achievement in customer satisfaction. To be eligible for a 2013 Confirmit ACE Award, Confirmit Voice of the Customer (VoC) solutions clients must have conducted one or more surveys to assess customer satisfaction between October 1, 2011 and December 31, 2012. Qualifying performance is determined by a combination of customer satisfaction mean scores and top-box rating percentages maintained during at least a 6-month period during the eligibility period.
