The American Citizen Services office is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until ll:00 a.m. and the Federal Benefits Unit is open from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Public inquiries are answered from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please check the U.S. Embassy home page for up-to-date information on hours and services. Climate: The best time to visit would be April-December. Most of the rain falls December-March, but rainfall generally doesn't last long and won't ruin a trip. In summer, the mountains offer cool relief from hot coastal temperatures, but in winter, it can get very cold there.
