Why not take a trip to Montenegro?

Montenegro might be a little-known country in Europe, but that only adds to the country's mystique and exotic nature. Although not widely visited, there are a number of amazing sights to see in the country.
Biogradaska Gora is the last rainforest left in Europe, and is a great reason to visit Montenegro on its own. The area is preserved as a natural park, and is considered a "virgin forest" with little to no civilization in and around the area. The center of the forest features the large Biogradaska glacial lake.
Even non-spiritual travelers must make a stop at the Ostrog Monastery on Mount Ostrog. Next to Christ's Tomb and the Holy Mount, this is the third most-visited Christian site in the world, although the area is open to visitors of all beliefs. The monastery is carved into the very rock of the mountain, providing a breathtaking view.
Montenegro's small size makes it easy to navigate, and locals are usually friendly to tourists who have come to experience this beautiful country. The region has experienced a resurgence in tourism, leading the government to make many improvements to the roads and hotels.
