Locals in the Rajasthan region have a deep appreciation for music and tend to showcase this interest for guests, Travel and Leisure reports. A genre that has remained present for a thousand years is gypsy music, brought in by the Roma people of Eastern Europe. In towns like Jaisalmer and Kanoi, travelers may catch outdoor performances in the streets.
