Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, may be one of the more gorgeous vacation destinations to see this winter. Even in January the temperature stays in the low 80s and water visibility remains clear for up to 45 feet. This area of the world is full of sunshine and sand, but still requires the purchase of travel insurance for those who do not want to be caught unaware at the wrong moment.
Upon arrival to Puerto Vallarta, vacationers will want to hop down to the beach, kick off their shoes and stick their toes in the warm sand. Although this part of Mexico has a number of interesting opportunities for fun, the best activity may be to simply lay in the sun and absorb some rays. There is nothing like listening to the sound of the surf in January.
A trip to Bahia de Banderas may be in store for those who like a little more action on their vacations. This area is a remote and beautiful beach where travelers can snorkel or scuba dive to their heart's content. This is beach life at its most appealing.
