• See Paris' most iconic landmarks

    2011-03-25

European travel is one of the most exciting things to do during the summer. Several people have already started planning their vacation and one of the most popular destinations to visit is Paris. Whether it is a tourist's first trip to the City of Lights or their tenth, travelling to the romantic location is always an amazing experience.

Vacationers will have countless museums to frequent, places to shop and food to try, but no trip to Paris is complete without checking out some of the city's most iconic places, such as the Eiffel Tower.

One of the best ways to see the iron lady is by a leisurely walk through the Champ de Mars. Travelers can bask in the warm French sun while absorbing the unique atmosphere until they finally reach the magnificent structure. Tourists who want to go inside the tower should expect long lines that may last over an hour.

After snapping a few photos, tourists can go to the Arc de Triomphe, located in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle. One of the most exciting times to visit the structure is at night as it is illuminated and magnificently glows in the dark sky.
