While many people may dream of one day going to space, right now it seems as though that kind of trip would break the bank. However, those who want to learn more about what it would be like at a fraction of the cost now have the opportunity thanks to a new exhibit at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum.
The Toronto Star reports that the Canadian Space Agency developed a "Living in Space" exhibit, which will open later this week in Ottawa, in an effort to teach young people about the technical and physical challenges that come with living in space.
According to the source, more than 20 items have been donated by Canadian astronauts who brought the objects with them when they journeyed into space. The exhibit is expected to stay in the museum for the next five years.
The Ottawa Citizen reports that real-life Canadian astronauts will be on hand for the opening, including Chris Hadfield, Robert Thursk, Julie Payette and David Saint-Jacques.
