Have a fantastic Roman vacation

With summer only a few months away, now may be the perfect time for travelers to start planning their annual vacations. Those who are thinking about flying to Italy this season should consider staying in Rome, as it offers not only some of the best restaurants in the world, but also a number of cultural landmarks.
No trip to Rome is complete without visiting the Coliseum, located in the city's Campo de' Fiori neighborhood. The popular tourist destination was built in the 1st century A.D. and could hold 7,000 individuals. Travelers should make sure to bring their best camera to take amazing photographs of the stunning iconic structure.
Once the Coliseum is out of the way, vacationers may want to head to the town of Piazza Navona and check out the nearby Pantheon - one of Rome's most breathtaking sights. The structure was used as a pagan temple and then later turned into a church. Travelers can go inside the Pantheon, which contains the graves of important Italians, such as Raphael and Vittorio Emanuele II, the first king of Italy.
Another amazing destination to visit while in Rome is the Fontana di Trevi. Vacationers can relax by the 250-year-old-fountain, as it is a great place to take in the beautiful Italian scenery and people-watch.
