Golfer's paradise in Hawaii

Many parents find themselves with a wealth of free time once their children leave home and they become "empty nesters." For Dad, this time can be one of transition, as he most likely finds himself in a higher position at his job that also affords him benefits like travel.
This period is the perfect time to book a golf trip for Dad and his buddies. A golfing vacation package is also the perfect way for the kids to say "thanks" to Dad for helping to put them through college.
The island of Lanai in Hawaii is a golfer's paradise. This small, relatively unknown island features plenty of resorts that will cater to foursomes on a golf outing. It also features two championship golf courses designed by PGA legends. Jack Nicklaus designed the The Challenge at Manele, a cliffside course that offers stunning views of the Pacific. Greg Norman created The Experience at Koele, a hillside course through valleys and eucalyptus trees.
And Lanai isn't just for golfers. Its also a great spot for a romantic getaway for empty nesters. Older couples will appreciate the amenities offered by the areas many resorts and spas, as well as the timeless romance of Puu Pehe, a large hill by the water known as "Sweetheart Rock" for its breathtaking views of the sunset.
