French hotel caters to dogs

Oftentimes, travelers have to leave their beloved four-legged friends behind when vacationing since many hotels do not allow pets. However, Actuel Dogs is calling itself a luxury hotel in Paris for dogs and welcomes canines with open arms.
Owners can leave their pet at the hotel, which offers heated pools, massage salons and luxurious rooms that are have several framed pictures of dogs, while spending the day in the City of Lights, according to Reuters.
The founders of Actuel Dogs are Devi and Stan Burun, a dog behavior specialist and canine enthusiast. The couple charges between $36 and $48 for a full day and also stresses that the animals are not in locked away in a kennel, the news source reported.
"People think we serve the dogs' food from silver platters, but this is not pointless, extravagant luxury," Devi told the news provider. "It's not like in the United States or Japan - giving the dogs manicures, dying their fur pink - that's human madness. Our priority is to meet the dogs' needs.”
She claimed that many locals leave their dogs with them while they go to work. However, many travelers drop their canine off at the Actuel as well.
