Europe is the prime rib of art destinations, with some of the most famous museums in the world situated in the capital cities of Rome, Paris and London. However, these spots aren't the only place on the continent where tourists can find some internationally-known works of art. Travel website ChicTrek.com recently unveiled its list of some of the best locations to find intriguing creations.
Travelers should consider heading to Germany, where they can find a number of interesting pieces in Berlin. For those planning a trip far in advance, make sure to visit the Berline Biennale of Contemporary Art in 2012. The neighborhood of Kreuzberg is a great place for tourists to catch sights of unique and colorful graffiti.
For those visiting the Netherlands, the capital city of Amsterdam is home to the Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk Museum, which feature a host of contemporary art ejects, including video works and installations. The SMART Project Space also shows similar items.
Tourists who are making the trip east to Eurasia can visit Russia's Museum of Modern Art in Moscow, as well as the Winzavod Moscow Centre for Contemporary Art.
