Estonia boasts a long coastline and a number of islands that make it a great choice for travelers looking to engage in some watersports on their vacation.
Travelers looking for some fun in the sun and some playtime in the water should consider the town of Parnu, considered to be the "summer capital" of Estonia. This town, situated on the Gulf of Riga, is quite welcoming to tourists.
While spending a day at the beach, travelers have a multitude of options available to them, whether its jet skiing, windsurfing or parasailing. Estonia is also a great location for divers, as there are a huge amount of sunken ships in the region, including a recently discovered Swedish Viking vessel.
Outside of Parnu, there are still plenty of options for watersports. Estonia has over 1,500 islands within its borders, some of which are open for tourism. There are also a slew of resorts along the coast that will cater to traveler's ever need. Finally, there are tons of streams and rivers further inland, making canoeing and boating another option for travelers.
