One place offers patrons the opportunity to savor their food completely in the dark, according to Livestrong. Camaje Bistro and Lounge offers a four-course meal and entertainment all of which guests can enjoy under the cloak of a blindfold.
For more than a decade, the Trapeze School in New York may have helped many wary visitors conquer their fear of heights. Classes address topics such as trampoline instruction and flying trapeze. Inidivuals who are at any fitness level are welcome, as are children over six years old.
Amidst the high rises of the city, travelers may be hard pressed to find anything natural besides outside of Central Park. However, The Earth Room in SoHo has an exhibit at which guests can gaze and draw their own conclusions on its meaning, reports Lonely Planet. A total of 28,000 pounds of soil have been on display since 1977 in this prime spot of real estate, which was conceptualized by Walter De Maria.
