A romantic getaway in Turks and Caicos

A beach vacation in the Caribbean is a great choice for newlyweds going on their honeymoon, but some of the islands are a bit more crowded and touristy than others. Luckily, the Turks and Caicos islands are one of the few relatively undiscovered destinations.
Turks and Caicos is partially made up of the Caicos islands, which account for much of the island's land mass. The Turks islands make up the rest of the territory, including the capital of Cockburn Town located on Grand Turk. While couples will enjoy any of the islands, they'll find most of the resorts and restaurants on the island of Providenciales.
With a little research, newlyweds can find resorts that cater to couples. Or, for those who don't like the resort lifestyle, rent a house along the water.
Some ideas for activities while in Turks and Caicos include renting a boat and exploring the beautiful water, riding horses along the beach, or grabbing a bite to eat at one of Providenciales' many restaurants.
The island chain is a British territory, so couples that plan on driving in order to get around should take care, as they might find themselves on the wrong side of the road. Fortunately, taxis are readily available.
