    The Adventure Travel Protection Plan is a customized, comprehensive plan ideal for travelers who love adventure that comes in many forms.

    With the Adventure Travel Protection Plan, you receive valuable coverage in the event of unforeseeable trip-related expenses plus specialized coverage such as:

    • Access and/or License Fee Refund
    • Equipment Loss
    • Equipment Delay
    • Coverage for various adventure activities typically excluded in most other travel insurance plans such as: Mountaineering, aviation, hang gliding, skydiving, parachuting and bungee jumping.

     

    Family Coverage

    All children 17 and under are covered at no additional cost if all accompanying adults purchase a policy.

    Purchase the Adventure Travel Protection Plan within 15 days of your initial trip deposit and you'll receive:

    A waiver of any pre-existing medical conditions that could eventually cause you to cancel or interrupt your trip (applies to the first $30,000 of trip cost).

    Increase your coverage with the following valuable addition to any Adventure Travel Protection plan:

    Optional Car Rental Collision Coverage – $50,000 in primary coverage. Covers cost of repairs for covered collision damage to a rental vehicle, up to the limit of coverage, for which the vehicle rental contract holds you responsible (subject to $250 deductible).

    *Optional coverage cannot be purchased separately. This must be purchased with Adventure Travel Protection plan.

    Comprehensive non-insurance travel insurance services are also included such as: BagTrak®, airport transportation, hotel finder, reservations, cash transfers and more!

    In addition, every Adventure Travel Protection Plan customer also has access to Adventure Traveler's 24-Hour Hotline. Hotline services include:

    • Information on access issues, construction, and detour information
    • Assistance locating the nearest crag, whitewater or trail
    • Up-to-the-minute weather and travel advisories
